1, the colour combination doeesnt work for me, definite no
2, probably my favourite, very nice
3, dont like the colours, that squiggly thing (what is it?) or the main font, definite no
4, I like this, it is in a very different style to 2 though and says something completely different to me.
5, too much like a cross, has religious connotations
6, I like everything except for the t, what is that suposed to be?
7, I also like it but I think it would be more effective with just the blue and green

I think #5 has the most potentail. The "T" looks too much like a + to me. Make it look more like a T and I think yu got yourself a winner.

Tough call, they're all good. I think the blue/green colour scheme in #6 is best, but I also really like the dual-photographers symbol in #1 and #3.

In the end though I'd suggest #2, with the colour scheme switched for the one from #6 (blue for grey, green for green) - it's the simplest, and clearest design of the lot.

I liked #4 the best, but a few of the others are nice.

What kind of photo work will you be doing? #4 looks like a portrait logo. #1, 2, and 3 look like they could be of a children photog - more whimsical. #5 and 7 have more of a corporate look to them.

I would assume, by any of these logo's that you are exclusively a children's photography business.

I thought I would check out your website. By the images I would of guessed you as an amateur photographer, not by your outstanding images, but the choice of images you use. Then when I click on your prices, WOW! premium price!!! The only pricing is weddings. Which brings me back to the original images. Not one wedding picture?

No, I'm not getting away from the original question. You logo is more "gimicky" and looks like something a child photographer would have. What kind of photography you do, should influence you logo.

My vote would be #4

Its all about branding and constancy. I don't see any with you logo, you website, and your pricing.

My vote would be #4

Numbers 1 and 2 are the best, but Number 7 has a lot of potential. I think personally an important aspect of your logo is to differentiate "St [and] Ak" from simply "stak." When I first saw the logos I never associated "stak" with being a combination of two words; the color and size differences in logos 1, 2 and 7 (especially 2 and 7) really clear this up for me. I like #7 because the camera cutouts from the grey circle forms an "S" (for Stak) in the negative space. I'm not sure if that was one of the intentions but I noticed that pretty quickly. If you go with #7 make sure the S and T are one color and the A and K are another. Right now the S is one color and the TAK are another.

I find the fonts in logos 1 and 3 to be a little feminine for a group of male photographers; I'd really like to see the fonts in logos 2 and 7 with the intertwined photographers of logos 1 and 3, but it might create a clash between whimsicle and utilitarian (or it may contrast well, who knows?).

Logo 4 is just ugly beyond repair (no offense).

I don't like Logo 5 because there is no element of photography in it, and the way the colors are positioned on the PLUS sign makes it seem as if you are actually "stacking" something (play on words?).

I don't like Logo 6 for the same reason (no obvious photographic elements) and because it resembles the religious symbol of Cross (might not be what you're going for, but maybe it is...).

Also take note of the "s" on "Photographers" of logos 2, 5 and 7. It is lowercase whereas the rest of the word is uppercase. Possible typo?

Good luck.

I like #6 the best. I don't know about some of the other comments, but it was immediately apparent to me that the "T" represents two people with cameras. I think it does the best in communicating the partnership aspect of your business. Very clever actually!

Here are some questions that you may want to ask yourself - as it will help decide on the logo.

• Marketing objective.
• Who is your target audience?
• Who are your direct & indirect competitors?
• What sets you apart from your competitors, Points of differnce?
• Where does your company/organisation sit in the marketspace along side your competitors?
• What is the market perception of your company/organisation?
• Where & how do you want to be seen is this space?
• If your company could have a personality what would it be?
• What are the key values & aims of your company/organisation?
• What are the design mandatories?
• Do you have a style guide & visual language we need to follow?
• What do you like or disklike in your competitors companys?

Why the lowercase 's' at the end of PHOTOGRAPHERs?

I like #7, but would prefer the Stak portioj to be larger and the image portion to be smaller.

Question,
What software are you using to design your logo?
I have been trying tio design a Logo for my Photography business, but have no idea how to actually design one. I've search around loking at examples so far and have a general idea of what I want in a Logo - just not sure what software to use to do the actual designing.

Thanks,
Michael

James - That S will be fixed, other than that, what do u think?

Michael - I'm working with other designers on the logo. I believe they are using Illustrator, most likely.
