I like the BW version as well Jim (a rarity for me) I think it fits the scene and the range of tones that you've captured better than the color version.

Thanks Doug, I am leaning towards the B&W version myself.
Jim, that's a really nice composition, both versions. The eye goes to the incoming waves, but the rock is there as a solid base, the density just right to balance the the tones in the sea and the misty far-shore.
I pulled over at this precise spot last summer! Unfortunately, my images suffered from a bad case of the noisy shadows. That's an amazing little chunk of coast. Nice images, Jim. I second Sunny: hope you made it to Goat Rock SB. Dave
Nice hazy look there Jim, looks like a cool place with lots of photo oportunities - especially the distant arch, would like to see some shots of that for sure.
