p.1 #1 · extension tubes

I just bought the Canon 100mm macro lens. Great lens, but I am also interested in greater than 1x magnification. I plan to buy a set of extension tubes, but have no idea which ones to buy for my 30d or 5d. There are quite a few brands available, with varying prices from 20 to 160 euro. Can anybody advice me on this?

Of course, you can't go wrong with teh Canon tubes - if buying used, and if you may want to use them with an EF-S lens in the future (of course, with the 100 macro I doubt you will...) make sure you get the series II versions - they support the EF-S mount - the series I do not.

The Kenko set gets good reviews & is quite a bit less expensive than the Canon.

My son has the Kenko ones. If you get the Canon ones, you get the "L" air inside at the corresponding higher price.
