Found this shed about 20 miles from Yakima, Washington. The owner had around four hundred vintage car and truck bodies on his property. Thanks for looking. -Art

not sure how you processed the image to get that feeling; care to share your technique?

Very nice image. Looks very sharp, nice detail.

How did you get access to my garage?

I appreciate everyone’s kind comments, as I seem to be pleased with this image also.

Tom (tomandmarg) asked about my processing… Basically I used Alan Young’s recipe ( https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/639192/ ) with a couple minor changes.

Did an hdr merge of -2 / 0 / +2 ev exposures (taken from a single raw image); added a very small amount of tone mapping; exported to PS; converted to b/w; [skipped the Artistic > poster edges]; sharpened using the high pass filter approach; did minor contrast and brightness adjustments. This left the entire image looking similar to the bright center area, so I darkened the outer edges and corners to direct the viewers gaze on the image and provide the feeling of depth, then added the border. As you can now see, the fundamental recipe is like Alan’s… I simply find that the details vary depending upon the specific image in question.

Thanks for your interest. Best wishes, -Art
