Nice shot. I think I would add more contrast. Darken the blacks in the sky and richer blacks in the water as well as increase the highlights in the water some. Some more fine tuning on this image and I think it will look great.

Better but I think I would keep the adjustments to the sky and water area. The sky is definitely an improvement. Try just adjusting that part of the image and see how it looks. maybe the foreground is ok without any other adjustments.
Beautiful scenic view. I like the first image. You have to carefully pick your battles with 'cranking up the contrast' in images. There's a time and place for high contrast, but it isn't appropriate for everything..
