Great idea. Have you tried this in B&W? I think the red light doesn't add that much and it might help to make the background blend in.

Wow, this came out awfully strongly color cast.
I uploaded it on a different computer.. the red was just from white balance settings & an incandescent bulb. The white is from a LED light balanced on some pillows :-)

I'll try it in b&w.

I really like the way you've got the texture of the page, makes me really miss reading my old, dusty histories. I spend way too much time in front of the monitor.

Thanks, I'm very happy with the texture I got out of it too!
To me, that makes up a large part of the visual interest.
