I recently bought a new computer. I've loaded Photoshop but every time it opens, I get a registration pop up window. I've filled it out twice hoping the pop up window will disappear but no luck. Its isn't a major issue, but is a little annoying. If registration doesn't get rid of the window, what will? This wasn't a problem on my previous computer.
Had the same problem with CS2. Was told that to fix the problem would cost me $35. When I stopped gasping for air, I was told that was because CS2 was obsolete, and no longer supported for free. I declined his generous offering with a few well chosen words, and resolved to get used to hitting "Decline registration".
Now, I don't know if that is the general policy, or just one employee having a bad hair-day.
Go to "All Programs" and right click on "Run as Administrator". When PS opens and the window pops up, register again. Close PS and reopen it and no more pop up.
For some reason I didn't have this problem on my other computer. Must be a Vista thing.
