p.1 #1 · Canon 28mm 2.8 vs Canon 35mm f2.

I like primes and I have the Canon 28mm 2.8 lens... I feel it a very nice lens to have in my arsenal. I was thinking would it be worth the ~$250 to buy the Canon 35? Or is it worth spending the $ elsewhere?

I also have the 50,85,135 in my bag of tricks.

I want to get a wider shot then with the 50mm but not as wide as the 28mm... and wanted to know if it would be wise to get the 35mm or jut stick with what I got. Sometimes I feel the 28 is too wide, and the 50 is not wide enough (but the 50 is my fav)... I do use the tam-17-50 for those group shots if I need something wider then the 28mm.

I had this lens for a while. I thought it was quite soft compared even to the 50mm 1.8.

I use the 35mm f2 for groups at weddings - until I can afford the F1.4
