So I guess that means it truely will be a "shotgun wedding"!!
Seriously though, I love the images! #1 is my favorite, if she had a different expression on her face in two It would be my favorite. There is an old house on the way to my sons preschool and i really want to do a bridal there but I haven't found a bride willing yet!
Great work as always!

After her engagement shoot, she decided that she loved her serious face. So there are a good many of those in the shoot. It's not MY preference... but it's totally hers. As long as I get composition authority, I'm okay with them choosing their own expression.
Just take the bride without asking! Tell her you want to do some experiemental stuff at the end of her shoot and she'll love thinking she's your "model".
Her arms detract from her beauty.....turning her upper body to a 45 degree angle away from the camera and using her veil over her left shoulder and arm would make her look slimmer .........

Trust me, that was the thinnest view of her arms. I hate to say it, but that was the part that was the most troublesome for the whole shoot. Every normal trick I tried didn't do anything to help. So I went with straight on and then liquefied a bit to tone them down. Her veil just wasn't dense enough to hide all it needed to hide.
Yeah I totally understand......i had a large bride this weekend and she wore this tiny hugging dress that just pushed her "figure" all over the place......
Your bride looks gorgeous and i love the saturation and colors......

Thanks.
It helps that she's not overly concerned with her weight. Not all of them are like that. I had a before and after picture I wanted to post. It was really insane.
I'm intrigued by one thing - when was this? During the wedding day or prior? I ask since I don't really do this style of work so I'm not sure when it actually happens....

In the South, girls typically have their portrait session a month or so before their wedding. That way they can have a 16x20 (or larger) sitting out at their reception.

I see....wow. So do they get their hair and makeup done twice....?
Every UK bride I know would be too terrified of damaging the dress to do this. One woman I did last year kept the wedding dress and BM dresses in a locked room until the big day.....
#1 is very nice with just part of the barn showing.
# 2 IMHO shows too much of the barn and my eye is drawn to it first.
Everything else is done very well.
