I've posted before, not really good with people skills,so I need a book with examples to follow. things to say to clients to build a rapport and get their business. I want 10/10 of my clients to book me(if I want to).
Anyone know if there are any books on this subject?
I don't know of any books, but I think what you are looking for is something on 'empathy selling'. On the other hand, the ability to build a rapport seems kinda hard to learn from a book - a bit like learning to be funny.....
Booking 10/10 clients is doubtful to happen no matter how good of a salesman or photographer you are. You can't be all things to all people. Prequalifying them by posting prices and examples of your work will up the odds though.
Also network with other vendors, including other photographers. Not only so they can refer work to you, but so you have other photogs to refer clients to if you're booked on their date.
I've read some of that book - it's ok but it does seem to be a case of having one idea and repeating it over and over though. I've only made it through about four chapters - there's only so many times I can read the same thing....
Look up the book "Influence the psychology of persuasion" By Robert Cialdini an absolutely priceless resource that can be applied to all areas of your life not just Bu$iness.
