I'm not sure if I like the selective color better or not. Any opinions? Does the parking meter add anything to the picture? I'm already planning on trying to reshoot this (next time I can wake myself up early enough to catch the light) and using a CP filter to get rid of the reflection off the glass.
I think the red is too much in the selective color. Maybe tone it down a bit?
The color one works better for me.
Maybe a slightly desaturated version of the color would work? It would allow some of the benefits of the selective color by allowing the red to pop while also bringing down the tone of the red.
Interesting image. Seems like a lot of personal preference on this one. I'm fine with the red in the meters. Prefer the first. But I agree that the reds are too saturated.

I prefer the selective color image. I normally really dislike that sort of thing, but this subject is none of the normal cliches (flowers, a dress, a ribbon) so I find it refreshing.
