p.3 #1 · Reality check: RiDATA CF/SDHC cards on Canon

Dear Luke,

We have received your RMA, 12pcs 4GB 233X Lightning Series CF cards. 10 of them need to be sent to oversea to repair. 2 of them are repairable in our lab, after repairing and testing, we will send them back to you in next Tuesday (9/09/2008), and the 10pcs that need to be sent to oversea, you will receive them in 10 business days.

In order to resolve the issue, we have updated the CF card with a new firmware, and restore the card to the factory default setting.

For improving our product quality and customer services, would you please give us a feedback regarding the new firmware of the CF card?

p.3 #2 · Reality check: RiDATA CF/SDHC cards on Canon

I used a brand new Ridata 8 GB 233x CF card a few weeks ago for a senior shoot, 4 hours and 4 outfit changes later, I had NOTHING. I took the card out of the camera and loaded it into my card reader, adobe album went to load it and I cancelled it out so I could open it in windows media viewer, that's the last I saw of any of the photos. I made 5 different attempts with 5 different media recovery software manufacturers, and still nothing. Ridata has yet to reply to my email, 2 weeks ago.
