WOW! Scott I had no idea that you weren't packing pro series bodies!!! I have always been a big fan of your work and envy your commitment to shooting such a vast range of gigs. So to find out that you're shooting with a 30D is such a thrill and encourages me to no end. Thank you...
I realise this was shot at 1600 ISO, but to still get 1/320th @ 2.8... that's not poor lighting compared to venues that I've shot.

I really like the feel of the shot.
Hell, I have shot shows at ISO 3200 at f2.8 @1/100 and have it still underexposed. Whatever show I shoot, I ALWAYS try to keep shutter above 1/100. Shoot is Raw and adjust exposure is Raw conversion proccess.
Wow...Nice shot!!
I just covered the Musicians on Call event here in Nashville too. It's such a worthy charity! I've used a 30d for a couple of years too, definitely a great camera!

i am coming to Nashville this tuesday. I am shooting a band called Tokyo Police Club for my 4th cover for POLLSTAR magazine. The venue is called Exit / In (I believe).
I've been there many many times. It's not the most plush of clubs, but the good thing is that it's pretty decent lighting for photos, probably one of the better venues here.
