The lighting is very good in these. A couple of the first few have the bird turning away, otherwise I'd be choosing #1 as favourite. #4 is quite good and #5 is your best one here, IMHO.

Glad you liked them Socrate! I got a tune that keeps coming back in my mind, maybe I can whisper this to them:
"Babbo, che eri un gran' cacciatore
di quaglie e di fagiani
caccia via queste mosche
che non mi fanno dormire
che mi fanno arrabbiare
com'č profondo il mare
com'č profondo il mare"
Sounds pretty good to me!
Very good choice, Nello. Try also this one:
Dice che era un bell'uomo
e veniva, veniva dal mare...
parlava un'altra lingua...

Yeah Dave I wish they look at me more often too, but when they do by it's hard to MF so quickly as they constantly hop around Dave In La wrote:
like the habitat in #4 a lot....wish it had a slight head turn
Jim i'm gonna put that on my Christmas wish-list "a shot where the bird atually looks at me" Jim Rickards wrote:

Yes Steve. black feathers are hard to get decent detail out of them (at least w my combo ). I have a bin filled w raw files / non keepers trailhiker wrote:
Boy, #s 4 and 5 are sharp! Great angle of light in them, too. It really brings out that always-hard-to-get black feather detail.
Best Wishes,
