All wonderful images - #5 is may favorite, but I can't explain why - maybe the cuteness factor?
Jeez, that's a hard one. Maybe. Also just one of the prettiest ducks?
Thanks for your thoughts, Tim G

Hi Tim - Shovelers are one of my favorites, especially when you can capture them with their bill out of water. You've also included another of my faves, the Gadwall, the most elegant duck around, and as #5 shows...irresistable. Excellent capture
Maggie, thanks for chiming in! It is tough to get the shovelers with their heads out of the water. I kind of think mating time has got the boys to try to look good.
Ah Gadwalls, my favorite! Thank you so much for the kind words.
Nice collection, Tim. I bet every one of those ducks saw you. I am continually amazed at their eyesight and alertness. I guess if people were trying to blast me out of the air with shotguns, I would be more alert.

Tony
Thanks Tony, maybe that one gadwall was just facinated with the nutcase in the bushes!
All shots are great Tim. The Shovelers are so hard to get close to here. Every time I come even remotely close they're gone gone gone !! Flight shots are great too
Tim, male Shovelers may look surprised or bewildered, but yours here have -- personality. Especially #1. I really like the focus on #5 Gadall. A good all-around duck series...
