Thanks Ed , High Island is on the Texas coast between Galveston and Beaumont. The rookery should be active til May. The Houston Audubon Society owns the land . Contact them for more info.

Thanks Maggie. I'm glad you liked them . I will be seeing more spoonbills on nests soon. The Great Egrets already have alot of chicks . Also there should be alot of Snowies showing up with the Spoonbills. Can't wait!

Wonderful series John, you got some great behavioral shots here! I like them all, but 1, 3, 6, 7 and 8 are my favorites, nice work.
