Both versions of #1 look nice. It actually reminds me of the shoreline of Mono Lake minus the salt. The looks are different enough it's hard to say one is better then the other. #2 is really cool with those clouds and color! And while I can appreciate filling the frame with the clouds, I almost wish there was a little more on the ground side. Not too much more, but maybe just double what you have. Course that could just be me, as I said those are wonderful clouds in this.
