Anyone have any experience with 50ZF re: stiff focuing ring and/or CA/blooming behavior? Have read the various tests and LC's review of the ZF line,but the more experiences the better.
Love my 35/2 but find myself using up close a lot - so MIGHT swap out for a 50 macro ZF. And I just got the custom-coded '35mm F2.0' adapter... arrgh.
Posting here because want experiences on Canon body vs. Nikon.
My ZF50's focusing ring is just right. Initially I thought it was a touch stiff, but after moving through the full focus range several times, it eased up and is just right. As for CA, I haven't really seen any in my photos so far. I also haven't pixel-peeped, beyond noting that even wide-open it's spectacularly sharp. Stopped down to f/4, it's incredible.
No landscape picture, just in house testing, Actually just received the 50 today from http://www.shopdigitalcorp.com/default.asp. they did not increase the ZF selling prices and the shipping free. I am not affiliated with this company.
Don't know. If you referring to the left lower part area ? Then maybe there's a bloom in this lens. Hope others can show some samples.
Then shot above was taken with in camera default sharphening level 3. I will try sometime with zero .
