I have some questions of curiosity that may get more responses to your post and more comments. My questions are sincere. I hope you will answer.
#4 image really looks like something from the war. That guy sure looks the part with the beard flowing in the wind etc..
Where was this?
Do the re-enactors have to have two uniforms (one gray one blue) so they can have 'opponents' in the battle? Do they 'flip a coin' or something to know what role they play? Or are there "yankee" units all over the south too?
Do the re-enactors have to be told when they are supposed to play dead? Are they told ahead of time? Or does someone designate them during the battle?
