I tried to get silhouettes of two people. This isn't exactly what I was after, but I think the final image turned out quite ok. Maybe the legs of the girl blend too much to the backround but otherwise, what do you think? It was lit using one sb-600 just outside the frame on the left. Legs would be better if I had another sb on the right aswell. Thanks
The edges of light created by your flash give the image a very nice feeling to it. Only maybe the strong shadow running across her shoulder is a nit-pick. Nicely done- good job.
My comments below are not a criticism of you, your models, or your talent. I offer them to help you if I can.
When doing a Sil, be very attentive to the position of any 'protuberances' in the lower
body area.
I won't state the obvious here, but look at the image carefully where the hand/arms are going and how they appear in the image.
My Simple Suggestion: Crop from the bottom to a point just below the woman's bustline on this shot. Eliminate the lower body problems and concentrate the viewer's attention on the upper body and the 'face' interactions.
I think the "faces/heads" make a good Sil and convey 'love.'
I hope you find this comment helpful.
Now, I hope you will help me too. A little "take and give" if you will. I have a global project underway and I don't have a contribution from Finland yet. I would like your Impressions on any of my work as described in the following link. Follow this link to learn more about my Global Impressions Project and how a few words from you can help. http://steadmanuhlich.com/globalforum/global_impressions.htm I am not asking for image critiques and it will only take you about 2-5 minutes of time (all explained in the link above). I hope you will help.
I like the shot and everything, but the first thing I see..... well... looks like his horse is getting out of the barn. I know it's his hand, but it's where my eye keeps going to.
