You're up against it by shooting from the rear and from the shady side.
Also, using 1/400 with a 400mm lens on a moving subject was bound to cause some motion blur. I think having the car bigger and sharper might have been better.
Thanks for the feedback Alan. The truck was pretty far away. This was one of those it probably won't turn out, what the heck shots. It looks sharp at full size but I always shoot kind of slow. I thought it looked interesting with the double down arrows and the far away background like he was launching off into space. It lost something when I sized it.
