So many strong entries I wasn't going to even attempt it this month, but I thought this one was interesting. Taken at the @Bristol Museum in Bristol, England; just FM CS action and an autolevels adjustment.
Andy - thanks! This was a metal panel against the wall of the museum. There was an exhibit on the human brain to the left of it and there was a brain made out of neon with different colors for the different parts. It flashed as a narrator was describing the different functions and the lights reflected off the metal panel. I watched the color sequence and shot when I saw a combination I liked. As soon as I saw the panel, I knew it would be fun to do the shallow DOF assignment with it.
Oh ok, so its brushed stainless with holes punched in it.
T'was well spotted Sharon, I know how easy it is to walk past an object like that and take a picture of the neon brain instead.
The picture makes me feel nauseous from my vantage point on the floor,
is that ok?
Jerry - thanks; I was planning to print it but I think I'll have to be careful where I hang it!
Eileen - thanks to you too!
Andy - thanks for checking back! I did do some of the brain too but they aren't nearly as interesting! And, yes, okay to be on the floor!
Brian - thanks; glad you like it.
Thanks, though I don't think we saw much sun! One sunny day out of the 8 we were in the UK, but that's about what I expected! One day, I got up before the sun because it looked like it was fairly clear - got dressed, got all my gear, walked out the door and it was pouring! It was sunny over in England but in Wales (near Chepstow) it was really wet!
