i´m participating in a photography expo in commemoration of 32 years since A military government took control of Argentina
due to my poor english is very hard for me to explain this pictures, but i´ll try to do it anyway.

April 1982 War started with the United Kingdom over the Falkland Islands.
June 14 1982 Argentina surrendered, but it did not give up its claim to the Falkland Islands.
October 1983 The people called for free elections.
December 1983 Argentina started a democratic civilian leadership government.
1985-1986 Three former presidents and several high-ranking military officials were convicted and sentenced to prison for their involvement in murders and torture.
1989 Three former presidents and several high-ranking military officials were convicted and sentenced to prison for their involvement in murders and torture.
I think both photographs convey the treacherous times of '76 and help remember the desaparecidos.
No.1 is very good. The only thing that bothers me with no.2 is that his hair is too sharp compared to the blurred chin. As much as I like the darkness in No.1 I also think the blown highlights in No.2 are good too.
Thank you for your coments.
is great when talented people like you coment on amateur works like this.
i´m learning a lot in this forum.
thank you so much again.
I much prefer #1, though it certainly needs some explanation to put it in context.
For anyone interested in those dark times in Argentina's history - I would highly recommend reading the play "Information for Foreigners" by Griselda Gambaro. In fact just about anything by Gambaro.
