Doug, Your skills are amazing. Wonderful shots- all! They all looked very healthy - better than the ones we have at our zoo in Alb. Steve W
Thank you for the generous words Steve, they were definitely not missing too many meals! There are a lot of deer close to the sanctuary, as is Hwy 44, a lot of road kill is brought in for the wolves, works out good for everyone....except the deer!

Doug, these are really nice. They don't show any evidence of enclosures or anythign like that, and I love the eye contact in these pictures.
Chris
Thank you Chris. Their enclosure is about 2 acres, it is very wooded with a pond, I think there were 7 or 9 in there at the time I took these, so everyone had a little room to roam about.
Hi Doug, what beautiful animals. I used to have a husky and every time I see a wolf or a coyote I want to go give it a hug. I wouldn't, of course, but the desire is there. They certainly were keeping an eye on you. I like the effect you captured of the wolves looking at you from behind trees. Looking forward to the next batch.

Thanks Jay, they were certainly curious and got a little braver each time they passed by.
Thank you Dave, they were very inquisitive, definitely checking out the stranger in their compound.
The wolf workshop looks like it would be a lot of fun. Especially the one coming up with the wolf pups, sound s like a wonderful experience from reading the reviews. Hope you go, would love to see your images.
