I like the second one best, but I also like legs. For me the best compromise would be to have the tight crop in the upper left but keep right side. It may change the aspect ratio a bit. Do you have one with all of her in the shot? Attractive model.
I think they both have merits depending on what you're trying to convey.
In #1, my eye lands comfortably on her face, her eyes right in one of those classic rule of thirds intersections. I then scan across her curves, pretty much in the horizontal middle third of the photograph. When I'm at her legs, the bright sofa back leads me back to her face. #1's a pretty classic combination.
#2 has more immediacy, as if she's into your personal space, a little close (tho that's debatable ) and it takes you longer to understand the full picture.
I prefer #1, but what were you trying for? Well played both.
Both work for me, although I do prefer 1. What a beautiful model! I just feel that in 2 the legs are wasted, in saying that though I think Pauls crop is great.
