p.1 #1 · Senior Class 2009 Mailing Lists

For those of you who have marketed senior pictures in the past, I have a question. How can you get mailing lists for the senior classes in a specific zip code or school district? My daughter has received mailings from colleges and so I'm assuming the colleges can get information from ACT testing or something similar?

Any help would be appreciated.

Since no one else will open up, I did my own research.

There are a lot of the companies below that put you into a loop trying to find info. Nearly all of them require you to call or email for a quote. (Then they can add you to a list....)

http://www.firstmark.com
According to their order form they start at about $30.

I can't find a price list for this company.

http://www.directmailconnection.com/list/residential.shtml
$50.00 per 1000 names base with a minimum order of 5000 names or $250.00

http://www.bestmailing.com/pricing.htm
$55 (one time use) or $85 (unlimited use) per thousand, (2,000 minimum)

http://www.datacardcentral.com/dataindex-r.cfm
http://www.datacardcentral.com/pdf/556.pdf
$80 per thousand (one time use) $185 per thousand (unlimited)

Here are a few more that I decided not to investigate too deep.

Thanks for the research. I had found a few of them when I was doing my own hunting. I know colleges aren't getting their info from these organizations. Every junior in my daughter's class took the ACT test and the results are mailed to them. I'm guessing that's how colleges are getting the info?? There isn't any information regarding that I can find. I guess maybe I need to find a college recruiter that can tell me where they get their mailing lists.

Put together a package then make an appointment with the teacher that is the class adviser and go to the school. Ask them if it would be possible to hand out cards or flyers or put them up in the halls.
