I have a cat pic but it is with the 35L. I'm putting it up anyway. It was shot almost in the dark. Just wanted to try the high ISO features. This was shot at ISO 6400, shutter speed 1/800 and aperture of 1.4. It printed out very nicely at 5 X 7. Not sure I'd try anything larger than that.

Is your Cat deaf? I had a cat with eyes like yours and it was deaf. Vet told me that most cats born with two different eye colors were deaf.
Not two different eye colors, but the color white.
The alleles for the color white lie close to the alleles for deafness on the cats chromosomes. Therefore white cats are more often deaf born than other coloured cats!

RT.
I have 2 white Turkish Angoras (probably not full breed); one is deaf and one is not. Apparently most "farm bred" white Turkish Angoras are deaf.

What a wonderful/sad story. Had me in tears over here. I have a 11 year old Tabby cat.

Thanks for the compliment, Luke. Must say your own entry stands out for all the right reasons.
Plenty of Caturday candidates in here. If you like cats, or cats with amusing captions, visit fark.com on Saturdays. A cat thread initiates Caturday, and is now a weekend tradition, one of those rare moments when the customary snark is laid to rest. Plenty of clever works to be relished.
Be prepared to go through the entire gamut of human emotions, though. Amongst the numerous images lie stories, and they're not always uplifting. From the latest Caturday comes this tale by 3felines:
