Very nice! I like how the softness of the trees sets off the rest of the image.

I love the toning, and drama of this image. It's magic, Julien!

Beautiful image, Julien, my friend! As others have commented, the softness of the trees is what really makes this work so well. Bravo!

How's that beautiful baby daughter of yours doing?

All best wishes,

Endre

I'm looking at this on the monitor at work which is awful and dark, but I can still see its a stunning shot. Looking forward to getting home and viewing how good it really is.

Thanks for your comments guys !
Sorry I have no time to comment your entries.

Mark : the next (and last) train station stops just in front of the atlantic ocean at the very south of Oleron Island, France, where the wind blows the most here during tempest (I was heading to shot the big waves as it was king of windy those days).
In 1999 a speed like 198kmh (123Mph) was recorded and sadly has destroyed most of the forest
It's still a fantastic location even if a bit "macabre" now. It's very unique. You can feel the raw power of the nature there if you're brave enough to walk (which makes the place less crowed than it would be otherwise).

Endre : Charlotte is doing very well thanks my friend. Already 8 months old but still eating at night which I must admit is getting hard. We're seriously missing some sleep but she's able to make us forget that with a simple smile .

Cheers,

Julien

Julien,

Love it. It is scary, intriguing, fascinating and surreal at the same time. Very well done.

Hi Julien,

Great shot. The lines and the shadow detail are just terrific. I do find it a bit creepy (in a good way) and ominous. To me it looks like the figure is approaching with an axe. Almost a shot out of a horror film. Not a comforting entrance. Perhaps I am reading too much into the shot, but it is terrific nonetheless. Good luck this week.
