Socrate, gorgeous, gracefule and pristine whites, excellent on the Egret. I am envious, a day fishing, sitting at the dock and being joined by the beautiful egret! #8 is a real beauty.
Nice shots, 1,5,8,& 9 are my favorites. I like the flying shots of the egret very much. I hope to get an oppurtinity to take images of one some day. I also like the reflection shot in #9, Very sharp and nice background colors

Socrate, these are excellent, excellent, excellent. The exposure and processing on the egret are perfect -- great detail! And that first grebe pictures is just wonderful. You really delivered the goods with this series, thanks for posting these.

Excellent shots Socrate! Good to know that the birds are starting to like you and you're finally able to take the Tc away from the 500mm My Tc has been living on the body since the day I bought it
I like #5 #8 and #9 the most!
Too bad you didn' get any fish though. I went out today too and was planning on posting something, but after seeing your shots i'm having 2nd thoughts
Thank you, Nello. I keep thinking that the Egret didn't see me at all. I don't have any other explanation for the bird being that close. An by the way you should never have 2nd thoughts about posting pics on this Forum. Just do it.

Thanks for the kind words, Karl. I really didn't do much fishing that day. I had gone looking for hawks all morning with no luck, but that Egret made my day.
