The lines are nice leading in both direction down the street. The motion could either be less or more but it is okay. The biggest thins I don't like in this picture is the bright light top left(stepping modestly left might have removed) and the fact that it is dark in the front and bright in the back. It is not clear what the subject is. It is a little soft too.
Perhaps darkening in photoshop down the middle would improve.
Oh boy, Nick, I know exactly where this picture is taken. Lived there for a few years. My, this brings memories back! And your photo exactly captures what's going on. Taxis buzzing along at every single minute of day and night. That bright yellow artificial light keeping the street well lit. Looking at the photo I can actually smell the street.
The bright light that bothers Scott is not a problem for me at all. Where I would go along with him is that you might want to consider cutting off the all shadowy part of the shutters on the far left of the picture.
