Thanks for looking Chas...

By themselves, a single remote is a god-send, but this proliferation of remotes, having to learn a new one constantly, having to understand how the stereo interacts with the TV and the DVD player... it's a problem that needs solving. Of course this picture is an exaggeration, most of these remotes are of no use to me anymore, but when I saw the topic I knew they would be the focal point of my entry.

Hi Paul,

This shot makes an interesting point about how as technology goes forward what do we do with what is left over. Nice choice of DOF as well. Good luck this month.

Thanks for looking Steve. I suppose normal people throw this crap out, but some of us will keep it for decades.

Reminds me of an old joke about how one needs a remote to operate all the other remotes. Now which one turns on the TV again

Great concept and execution,
Chad

Thanks for the feedback Chad...

I tried to make an "endless line of remotes" but it looked like crap. It's so much easire to make an interesting photo of a pile of stuff. This was also my first time exposure with my 40D. I was trying to eliminate shadows by using no direct lighting, but I ended up choosing a pretty short exposure. I liked some of the reflections coming from nearby window-light.
