p.1 #1 · Extreme Fill Flashing Helicopters

Probably about two years ago I ran into either an article or a video explaining how a photographer was using super heavy duty stadium lights strapped to a helicopter to essentially "fill-flash" a airplane or helicopter in flight. He was doing it for product shots, shooting the airplane at dusk or dawn.

Anyhow I can't find it again-- its driving me nuts. Any ideas or keywords to help me find it?

Wow. Nope, never heard of it. I wonder what kind of power source he used to run them. Onboard generator?

The only thing that might work would be renting a helicopter with a night/sun system like the police helicopters use to track ground activity and provide high cover for street units.

The night sun is nose mounted, stabilized, VERY bright and most likely run you $1400+ per hour.
