Okay, thanks to ViperMike for the push to make another go at it. (Sheesh, you think you could be lazy without being harassed!)
Please let me know what you guys think. Good luck to everyone this week! ~ Carrol

It is so precious. Definitely better than the other one even though I liked the candid perspective, but this one is very nice!! I wish the top of the head wasn't cut off, but I guess that really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. The facial expressions from these twins are perfect! Maybe a bit bright, but I think it works with this shot. It will definitely be a run for who's daughters will prevail.
Well now, I'm glad you gave it another go, this is great! Masterfully done Carrol.
Would be tempted to give it a touch more sharpening, particularly around the eyes.
Your capture of the expressions on their faces are very well done, I would also like to see the top of the heads not cut off and the crop a little more centered but all can say is Im impressed with the shot this one deserves a frame , and thats probably the only reason for my suggestions, thanks for sharing.
A vastly better photo, Carrol! Where did you find such identical twins to shoot? I think you chose the best shot for the WA although I like some of the other shots very much, too. Unfortunately, the backgrounds are somewhat distracting. In photo C (my favorite of those) it wouldn't be hard to clone up some material from the rest of the photo to get rid of that distracting design over their heads. It's interesting to see that throughout those photos, the twin on the left has a more ebulliat personality than the twin on the right. I guess that's how their parents can tell them apart. As to the cropping of this one... I don't mind the little bit of crop off their heads so much but if it were my photo, I'd crop in tighter. That's probably where the crop problem lies - either you need to allow all of their heads to show or crop down courageously so that it really focuses on their faces. Right now it looks sort of like you just missed framing their heads in the viewfinder - in other words, a mistake. Easily fixable. Whatever you do - do not center them! I love how the left twin's hand drapes over the shoulder of the right twin. If you do crop in tighter, you can afford to lose some of the background but don't go so far as to lose any of the hand. My two cents...
Endre,
Thanks for stopping by - I appreciate your comments so much!
I'll consider the increase cropped proposal...
Thanks! (and, um... hey, it's not too late for you to pull your entry!)
ps - these twins are the daughters of a friend of mine.
Beautiful is right! You can visually feel the softness in this image. Very sweet. The arm around the shoulders and the pink color give this feel. I don't think the composition needs to be adjusted at all. Great entry!
Love both of your shot for this week. You seem to have a gift for capturing the mischief inside someone. I guess it is the eyes. Great shots both of them.
