p.1 #1 · Kyson USA CIS update!

Hello all,
I think this is pertinent forum photog info.
I don't want to seem impatient but waiting nearly three months for a product that you have been charged and paid in full for is a less than a stellar business practice.
I should have been concerned when I saw they use a yahoo e-mail address.

This review is for Kyson USA. Not the product, the company. I do not have a clue about how awesome their product might be because they will not ship me one. A previous poster was not kidding about slow shipping from Kyson USA.
I have been waiting over 2 months and have requested a refund at least three times and nothing, nada!

I do not want 10% off for the slow shipping or to blame it on the shipper. I want the product or my money back I have received neither.

MY Kyson rating.... IMHO

On a scale of 1- 10 (10 being outstanding and 1 being very poor)
I would give Kyson a "1" and when they asked me why I rated their service so low I would reply you did not offer me a lower category to rate you at.

Important point 1:
2 1/2 months is long enough to wait when they charged your card the first day.

Important point 2 next:
Is there anywhere on their site that says shipping will be 90 days?

If you are considering ordering a CIS you might want to wait until I have updated this thread.
Especially if you are going to need ink in the next 90 days.
I am putting this information out so that you do not spend a small fortune on ink "after" you have paid for your new CIS.
Thanks for lookin'
Tom

I think there's a time window for which you can do that, something like 30 days after receiving the last bill right?

Jeez, call your credit card company. A) you were charged on day 1, which is basically a crime, and B) you still don't have the product. Your CC company isn't going to take the side of the merchant here, and in most cases, they don't, even with timely shipping. The 800-number is on the back of your card.

Call your CC, they're usually pretty nice about this kind of thing if you explain it well and don't file too many chargebacks.

Just thought of this:
Can you imagine if I sold something on the B&S forum and after three months I had not shipped the item.
I would have become a legend with 3000 angry FM members wanting to knock down my door and kick my pituty.
I actuality I am a great seller but unfortunately KYSON USA has me a ripped off buyer.

Did I get I am sorry we have sat on your money for three months and refuse to reimburse. NO
Did I get any product? NO

This is what I got:

"We just like to advise that you be very careful what you place in public forums. You are liable for anything that is said and everything can be traced back to your IP address. Any loss in business because of poorly worded statements by you, made public, can have serious consequences for your pocket book. Our lawyers will have a great time with this but we try to avoid legal issues if possible but will use them if we feel it necessary. Thank you.
Dan"

I am not telling you guys what to do but merely explaining you the treatment I have received from Kyson USA.
They don't even care that they refuse to refund, refuse to ship product.
And their website says nothing about ripping off folks and in fact if you review their product they delete it so as to carry on this charade of dishonesty.
I now have 13 e-mails from Dan most of then pasted from previous e-mails and all of them threatening me for being disheartened by waiting 3 months for something they were paid for 90 days ago.
I for one will never send Kyson USA $200 expecting normal honest treatment you decide on your own.
As always thanks for looking,

Tom

I don't believe the folks at Kyson USA understand the seriousness of mail fraud. Their lawyer may have a great time with statements on message boards. The plaintiff's lawyers will have a even better time during the discovery process to turn this problem into a bigger one if a pattern of abusive/illegal behavior is found.

I do wish Fred had a forum where we could alert our fellow members of internet abuse and warn honest folks about dishonest business practices. My intentions are to lessen the stealing from honest FM members .

Yikes, that website looks sleazy and the URL is a tipoff as well. I would never order from such a company. BTW, dare I ask how much money have you lost? The items don't look very expensive or worth the hassle.

I have been using the KYSON system for a year. After about a couple weeks it started banding and flooding, I called dan and he told just elevate the tanks. This did not help. I kept running the cleaning cycle and still the banding. I went out and bought a new head and the problem solved. Last month Feb 20 2008 the banding and flooding returned again dan told me to unplug the holes on the top and elevate the tanks and this did not help! He said on the Feb 20th he would replace the system. It is now 3 weeks later and after numerous e-mails with the correct shipping address and phone every day. I got this e-mail from DAN

After I spoke with my assistant on this, she was placing the wrong zip code and city on the addresses. I do apologize for it and will correct it right away. Thank you.

Dan
Kyson USA

This was Sunday and still no system!!!
After doing a NET search on KYSON USA I found there alot people in the same boat that we are. My advise if your looking for a CIS ....pass this one by because of the lack of customer service and failure to honer their promises!!!!

Did you ever get your replacement system? If you already been using the Kyson ink system for over a year like you said and just recently got issues, that may have thrown those guys off at Kyson. I know their warranty is only one year but guess they were okay with sending you a new one anyways. I think they make their money off the ink refills like anyone else so it's in their best interest to make sure you have their system.

I had a Kyson CIS system for my Epson R2400 and decided to upgrade to a Canon Pro 9000 after 11 months and they actually sent me a Pro 9000 System for no charge. Again, my take at it is that they make money off the ink refills and not the ink system in the same way printer manufacturers make money off of their cartridges.

So far, those guys at Kyson have been alright with me.

I've tried Mediastreet and even Lyson in the past but they did not carry any warranties like Kyson so I am still keeping my fingers cross.

I'm not affiliated with Kyson or anyone else just to let you know. Many of the ink forums you see online are setup by the ink companies themselves to self-promote their product or in some instances put down their competitors. If you run into forums where there is nothing but great stuff said about a certain brand, you can be certain that those forums are bogus. I don't think any company can satisfy 100% of their customers so there has to be bad and good stuff floating around out there if they are from honest folks.

Good luck guys.

Michelle
