p.1 #1 · epson 3800 refurb?

Hello,

I'm thinking about buying a refurb 3800 from Epson - has anyone had experience with this? They don't guarantee new inksets with the printer, which concerns me as half full inks would offset the savings...

Is a new "3800" on the horizon (silly question - it's been out a year?...of course there is a new one on the way, but newer isn't always better...)

I'll take any other recommendations - I've decided to go with at least a 13-inch width, but 17 would be even better...

Atlex.com has the 3800 for 1149.95 with free shipping. I've been shopping around for one and like this deal quite a bit.
