p.1 #1 · Can't access DPP lens correction function
I just downloaded the latest version of DPP which is supposed to support lens abberrations but I am unable to access this feature. I am using a 40D, 100-400 and 17-55 2.8 IS. All of these products should be supported, but in Raw conversion I can not get the Tune button to highlight. Any and all suggestions greatly appreciated!! By the way I use this site often for info and think it is one of the best!! Thanks to all who contribute!!
p.1 #2 · Can't access DPP lens correction function
I have found that it works with wide angle lenses but not longer focal lengths. On my Canon 1Ds it will work with RAW images shot with the 17-40 f4L but not the 70-200 2.8L.

jerryrock, the 70-200 is not a supported lens - presumably because it has excellent default optical characteristics that are not worth correcting. The restriction is not a focal length issue but a lens support issue. e.g. the 28-300 and 100-400 are correctable.
springlakeres, I don't have any files shot with those combos to test but I can only guess at a few explanations, all of which are a bit feeble
1. You didn't use the lens you thought you used (press ctrl I for info panel to confirm)
2. The file has been corrupted or modified by another program in a way that affects the EXIF data
3. You're looking at the jpeg instead of a raw file (in the case you had shot raw + jpeg or just jpeg)
From your description it seems that you are in the right panel to access the feature in DPP. Sorry I cannot be more helpful.

Thanks jerryrock and Alan321, both of you were correct! I mistakenly thought I was viewing raw files from the 100-400, but were actually from the 70-200. How and where does one find info on which lens are supported?
Sorry for taking your time on something I should have caught!
