p.1 #1 · At the garage

Long story short: My turbocharger died, my friends (3 mechanics) saved the day.

The camera gear was in the trunk, so I snapped away a bit while they were working:

1) - Digging out the turbo, finding out whether or not the engine had died as well

Glad you guys like them - here's another motion one, my personal favorite because the hub is tack sharp. Just because he's hitting it with a hammer doesn't mean that it's going to budge an inch:

I agree, very nice. car grease just feels wonderful, even in a picture.

Thanks for all your comments guys - I'll keep bringing my kit bag & tripod everywhere I go. I might just pursue an old idea about a series called "The working man"...

Car grease feels nice, but I think the oily smell at the garage is the best thing about it
