p.1 #2 · Few auto shots

I think that you have introduced too much choice in these photos - i.e. it's not easy to decide what the actual subject is. Yeah, it should be the cars but the background is so sharp and/or interesting that it detracts from the subject.

The car in #1 seemes to be too close to the left edge so that it is facing out of the picture.

The lighting of the car in #2 is a bit over the top.

#3 might have been better without half of the white car in the background. Either a different angle or else shift that white car.

#4 and #6 are probably the best, though #4 might benefit with less DOF.

#5 is confusing. If you want to show the engine then show it, but having the front of the car with the bonnet up is neither interesting nor appealing.

#6 looks like you panned to get a blurred background and yet you also got blurred wheels to further suggest motion. That is good. You could probably afford to remove the top quarter or third to put more attention on the car.

#7 is particularly confusing. The action is in the background but was it a crash or a burnout ? The woman in the foreground is looking away from it and partially obscuring it.

Welcome to the forum. Do understand that C&C is personal and could well be wrong or at least wrong for you. Take no offence and just treat it like some else's point of view. If nothing else you might come to realise how differently an image is seen by different people

1 - is too tight from car grille to to left. The picture seems soft. For example the building are out of focus. Framing through the buildings at akward anlges seem off. I would try to get rid off or downplay the other stuff and frame the car is my suggestion. You are trying to do too much.

2 - seems like too much - is it about the car or the buildings - not clear. Choose one and rather than have competition between them for which is the main subject.

3 - similar comments to 1 - too tight bottom left. The car behind seems to grow out of the car in front. Seems soft. But better less competition between background and foreground.

4 - not showing up on my computer

5 - too tight on framing bottom. Soft - cannot read writing on engine and competion between foreground and background. I think wide open to blur background might work better

6 - need more space in front of where it is going rather than square. The background is not exciting . I think framing lower with more pavement might improve.

7 - too much competition between the girl and the background. She is frowning which does not work well. And she is relatively centred. You have framed through her fingers. If you want to take pictures of people make them fill 1/3 of frame, blur background but hint and what it is and don't centre.

More attention to focus and less compettiion between forerground and background is the thing that would improve the most the fastest that I see.
