Very nice. I like #1 in the triple series best. You certainly did justice to the outfit and accented her beautifully with your excellent lighting technique as well.
Here are a couple for the last few months, the first was sunlight + a 48" reflector (technically two lights I suppose). Second is one X1600 fire at the wall behind my friend.
7' Elinchrom Octa....in the shade (no ambient sunlight)...yes, I blew out the highlights on the tall girl, hence the reason the shot was not used. This was outtake anyways.
I LOVE this thread, getting my ABR on Friday. Not to change the topic or hijack this amazing thread but I'm wondering how many of you that use a single light setup use a lightmeter?
Profoto Accute 2 with Hardbox on right. California Sunbounce 6x4 white on left, just out of frame. Metered with Sekonic 758DR. Sorta hard to tell that it was shot outdoors at night. 8-]
Had a wedding earlier this month at a location that offered a very rustic western decor. As soon as I saw this leather couch in one of the sitting rooms, I knew I had to work it in somehow. This was taken before we all left for the church.
Lighting is all ambient. Sunlight through and open door camera left, and from a window and small table lamp from camera right.
Today was my day for loving a single, big light...getting back to my roots! Spent the day playing around and shooting with no real objective, just to take the pressure off. So much fun to work in a wide area and just play without having to constantly re-check exposure. These are unedited, just a B&W conversion:
