I just found out I can get credentials to upcoming races at Richmond in May. I am wondering If any one here have ever shot at a race and if you have what you could tell me to take or expect. Thanks
You should probably post this over in the Sports corner. Nothing against folks here but there are probably more autosports related photographers over there that would give you some good advice.
I am really jealous.
Based on my past shooting experiencs at local SCCA races, my advice I have is to be aware of your surroundings when shooting. Things can happen extremely fast. Also, in my case, I would always try to talk the corner safety people and ask them where I could go so that I am not in their way and to stay out of trouble. I doubt that will apply to Bristol though.
thanks I did post it there after I seen that.. the light bulb came on.. and I said.. oh.. didnt think there was harm in posting the question in both so I left this one here. I am excited I went last year and shot from the infield was was not happy that the media just would walk infront of my best shots as they didnt care about little old me.. so I decided I was going to find out how to be out there next time I went.Thought it would be harder to get than what it was.. but looks as if it wont be to hard..
