Unfortunately, it's not about picking a new car (I wish!), but rather which of the shots below you prefer. The car was still; motion blur was added during post processing. Not my car, btw. Was just parked on the street. Also, if you have any improvement suggestions, I would really appreciate it, as I'm relatively new to photography. Thank you in advance!
The first - it's a little 'hot' for my tastes - also, you might want to straighten to set the tree trunks to vertical unless the tilt is what you intended.
The more I look I prefer the second - sets it apart from the routine, IMO.
Definitely #2 for me, please! The picture has a lot of strong colour. Just being parked there, the Mini has a very hard time sticking out from the background. The blur helps it being noticed.
And I am with Bob: the fact that the houses seem to be leaning to the left does not bother you? Question not intended rhetorically.
I like the strong colors. But the blur on #2 just doesn't work for me without any circular blur on the wheels, so I'd say #1.... except the left side (to the left of the tree) isn't a great background - whereas the car looks pretty good against the blue/green building and the cream one. You could try cropping (while straightening) to end up with a portrait (upright) layout rather than landscape. just an idea to try
Everyone - many thanks for your feedback. It really is very much appreciated!
The idea with the blur that I had is that the car drives in (really fast) from the right and then parks dead still. Kind of like in the cartoons, you know I definitely didn't intend the blur to portray a moving vehicle.
With regard to straightening, in a way it was intended, since I already tried to level/straighten the car (keeping the perspective in mind).
And with the background on the left (a parking garage), it is definitely different from the colourful buildings, but I also feel that it adds to the "street scene" (that's what it really was) of the photo. This may sound like I'm justifying what I did here, but it isn't meant as such. Again, I really appreciate your opinions and will try the crop ideas suggested. Thanks a bunch!!

No problem at all with you justifying/explaining your work. You posted it to discuss, not to blindly follow what others say.
What you write about the blur (comic like parking action) is exactly the feel I got out of it.
Personally, the car park does not bother me at all. The leaning buildings do.
Should you change anything in the pic for a final version or so, would you mind posting it?
Cheers,
J.
J, thanks! Playing around with the image, I do like the idea of straightened buildings. I've also toned down the motion blur and did some more manipulations with the bleach-bypass effect. Here's the result. I know it looks less "real" than the previous photos I've posted, but given all the colours at hand, I think it works. What do you think?
Even with the look you are trying to attempt I think the wheels would have some blur since the tires would have been turning till the very last second. Maybe try it and see what that does, I could be wrong.
It would be better if the car was bigger in the picture and less centred. You have squared the picture vertically and horizontally. Normally you would to leave more space in front of the car for it to drive in to.
