p.1 #1 · Playing with DIY light box

I've been meaning to build a small DIY light box for some time now and today I finally got it done. Very simple setup: a cardboard box, some cooking sheets for diffusers, white paper backdrop and two small table lamps. I'm still trying to find the best WB and light angles to use, but it's been lots of fun experimenting.

Here are some results, all with E500 and 14-45 kitlens on a tripod.

Maybe lights with a bit more power are required but it looks like quite an effective setup for shooting small items.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I've now made a another "window" at the top of the box and put a third light there, that seems to do the trick.
