Nothing wrong with the composition or the subject, though maybe taking it from a lower position would have put the face in the sky and not over those houses in the background.
The posterised/blown out sky spoils it quite a bit really.
thanks to your comment and i would had love to do just that, but between me and the post is the water, that even if i squat, the top of the houses would still be there.
also, the sky was cloudless (i did not think it would be a good background) and i was facing west where the sun was already setting, and i was not carrying a flash that shooting would make an already underexposed subject.
i preferred to have the houses and their reflections as my background, which i really thought was cute - Neptune watching over them and the boats, although the boats were not seen here.
