That’s an excellent analogy Chad, I originally envisioned the picture with the model posing on a sand dune to let the flying sand graphically show the wind fury and movement; but unfortunately I’m too far from the ocean now, so I had to improvise…

Hello Louis, we started the shoot right before sunset and it was getting dark quickly, but there was still too much light. I shot it with a polarizer filter at f/32, 1/50 to try to capture the motion effect from the wind on Whitney’s outfit.
