Another wonderful series Socrate, the detail, colors, bgs are all excellent! Superb job on the dining rat, even though it was shy. Favorites are 1, 4 and 8.

Really nice, Socrate. I haven't seen very many Cardinals this winter. A couple of Jays, a Mockingbird, and a whole passle of Sparrows.
Larry
Hi Larry, thanks for the comments. If I could I would send some Cardinals your way. Yesterday I saw 6 male cardinals at once in my yard, and I only need two of them.

Gorgeous cardinals and downy, where do you shoot these?
Hi Laura. Thanks for your connents. You aren't doing bad yourself with cardinals . I just saw one cardinal picture in your gallery and it looks very good.
The cardinals shots were taken in Alabama by the Alabama river with a 40D and a 500mm +1.4x on a tripod. The downy shots, here in Florida, in my backyard.
Take care,
Socrate
It appears you've recovered from your raptor rapture, Socrate The cardinal is gorgeous - they don't make it out west and I've never seen one. Love the hands over eyes Nutria capture. They would be such cute critters if their tails were not so rodent-like. As always...great set.

Here you are! Thanks for the comments, Maggie. Unfortunately I haven't recovered from my raptor rapture. It has actually become a war beetwen me and the raptors.
