p.1 #1 · First BIF with 1Ds Mark III

Yesterday, I had a chance to shoot some Short Eared owls. First, only 9/10 RAW in a burst is killing me (extreme IIII card). On the brighter side, the reach is impressive. In short, I never got this much pixel on the bird with 1D3 (I have been trying for the last two weeks). All taken with 500/4 IS +2X TC at ISO 800-1000. Overall feel of the camera is the same with that of 1d3.
