I have the original HyperDrive Colorspace UDMA, but not the version 2. I have the v1 FW; if you are interested PM me with a place to save or send it. That's a long shot though.
There is no OS, just the FW. A few of the device settings and the wallpaper are saved on the hard drive but you can start fine with a blank drive and default settings. I doubt the v2 was different at least in that way.
Is the hard drive recognized? A common issue with storage devices is that a too large/new of a drive may not work with older FW, but they should be fine up to at least 2TB.

Bummer. The 2 may be very different. The original Colorspace UDMA used Linux in FW from what I could determine. It only reached 35MB/sec for CF and even slower for SD; that was initially competitive until Nexto surpassed it not long after. The v1 UDMA had an easily replaceable unprotected 18650 for power so it could be updated forever.
Is your device is working correctly? Maybe it is looking for FW because it is damaged?

I have some firmware for the V2 Hyperdrive on my computer.
V30, V35, V39, V42 and V43.
I can send it all to you and you can sort out what is there. I still have some units upstairs never sold them.

I’m looking for the ColorSpace UDMA2 firmware files, specifically the later versions:V39V42V43 (latest known)My unit is currently running V35 (20131213 124910) and I’d like to update it.
Since HyperDrive/Sanho removed the downloads, I’m hoping someone who archived the firmware pack can share it (WeTransfer, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.).If you have any of the UDMA2 firmware versions, I’d really appreciate it.
