Thank you, Chad! I appreciate hearing from you and I'm happy you like my photo. I agree that B & W often looks classier but in this calse I think I'll keep the color version as my entry.
All the best,
Endre

Awesome shot. I personally prefer the color version, although the B&W is good as well. Sometimes I think we use B&W more than needed. Something about B&W seems more professional and classier.
I think the color one is awesome and in no need of conversion/improvement
Wow Endre. Your dad has great hands. I thought about having my son stroking the character lines in my mom's face for the shot, but she was anxious to get back to "the home", because lunch was being served. I got a total of 2-3 minutes to get my shot.
I like how he is gently clasping Eva's hand with his thumb, the lighting and composition. Great entry.
fond regards
Jim

You have done it again. This is not only touching and gorgeous it captures a beautiful emotion. I love how he is holding just her index finger. Exceptionally well done. Good luck this week, but I don't think you will need it.
Thanks so much, Jim, my friend. I'm so glad you like it. Eva and my dad are my two most used models. I'm happy this topic presented itself so i could employ their services again.
Fond regards,
Endre

Thank you, Steve. I appreciate all your kind words. It's not just the texture but also the size of thgier hand that helps communicate "Young and Old". I'm blessed to have such wonderful models close at hand. (Pun intended ).
All best wishes,
Endre

Endre.....this is a heartwarming and wonderfully simple yet meaningful image.......
I like the color version much better than the black and white, it adds to the warmth.
so......can I rent any of your family as models??
regards
Peter
As always, I appreciae your very kind comments on my shot, Peter, my friend! Thanks so much. Of course, my family is all rentable but, I suspect the airfare is prohibitive.
Fond regards,
Endre

Great shot! Wonderful focus. I, too, favor the color version of this shot.
BTW: LOVE the "Reflections" shot! Wish you could've gotten it in on time.

Carrol
Hi Endre, just made contact and instantly recognized your work I love the ski textures and the feelings expressed through the hands, speaks deep to me. L & P as always, Andrew-Bede
Thanks, Carrol. I'm delighted that you like it and am always happy to read your kind comments on my shots.
Last WA was only the second time since I've been entering the WA that Fred closed submissions right on time. I figured that I had a grace period of at least a few hours but just my luck, he was right on time when I wasn't. . I got a wonderful shot out of it in any case, so I'm not upset. So glad you llike that one, too!
All the best,
Endre
