This is my first post on this board. I've been reading a lot of the messages and viewed many of the images posted here, which have been a great inspiration for me.
The following images were taken last year during a trip I took to Washington and Oregon during the fall. Let me know what you think any comments or critque are welcome....
Nice images. Technically very good. You might consider posting a bit larger images so more of them can be seen. I really like the shot with the fishermen and the bridge, as well as the after sunset shots. Excellent comps.
Cornee, thanks for sharing these great coastal images. I think your views of the Yaquina Head lighthouse - #2, and the Yaquina Bay bridge - #3 are my favorites. Best wishes, -Art
Very nice series. #2 is my favorite. Keep on eye on the horizons to make sure they are straight. A quick fix in PS can straighten up the ones that end up crooked.
Welcome! Glad to have you posting here at FM. Nice series of shots here. My favorites of the group are #2 with the lighthouse, very good job on the foreground in that one. And then #5, you have that great sunset, but what makes it is the sand, and the texture and lighting on it. Very cool!
Thanks everyone for looking. And Daniel; I'll try to watch those crooked horizons. I didn't even notice it! I'm also posting larger versions of some of the images, since some of the earlier ones are indeed on the small side......
Welcome to the forum, Cornee. Very nice set, although rather a lot to take in at once. All look really nice but I particularly like no7 which is so Oregon-like with that fantastic view down the coast. The choice of the portrait aspect and the use of the fence works really well in the composition. I was especially glad that you re-posted this one bigger.
