Oh Louis, you’ve set the bar so high with this first entry, congratulations!
We can all relate to his feelings; there's no question he hates that needle and the whole experience.
The hot lighting around the mouth and the priceless eye expression in anticipation to the pain makes me cringe…
Dave - thanks for the comment. Our area OSHA executive lives across the street and visits this forum, so yes, I will certainly hear about it! I'll stick to my constitutional rights and not "out" our pediatric dentist - she's a good friend of ours and was thrilled to help with the shot.
I know this month's theme will produce a wide variety of images and emotions. I can't wait to see the rest!
This is an excellent and humourous interpretation of the theme! The qualityof the picture also does no harm, it is very well executed - My favourite entry by far! Well done
One instantly grasps the notion of hate with this shot. From a technical point of view, it looks quite challenging. A great first-person shot and an absolute perfect expression. I love the lighting as well.
Jamie - thanks for your comments. We kind of did this on the fly when my son visited his pediatric dentist. She was a great sport in helping us "set the mood".
Chad - thanks for taking a look and commenting. The lighting was certainly harsh from the worklamp, but I liked the way it turned out.
Karen - thanks always for your comments. We certainly had fun doing this one!
